As we found out a while back, there is $30 million in prizes to be had. Unfortunately (or fortunately if you are a great programmer) the documentation for Android isn t that good yet, and examples are a bit hard to come by due to the big pile of money sitting on the table. That said, there is no shortage of developers willing to take up the challenge. The official group on Google Groups has close to 7000 members and the Android IRC room on freenode is always packed (though can be a bit quiet at times). I m looking forward to seeing what kind of neat stuff developers will do with this new platform and I m sure we won t be disappointed! March 3rd is the cut-off date entries must be submitted using this form. Though you can submit as an individual, group or a business entity, it s going to be difficult for any open project that may gain or lose developers to make an application that qualifies. </p>
